The key investment project of NLMK Group's Strategy 2017 -, the construction of a pelletizing plant at Stoilensky, has been recognized as the 2016 Event of the Year in the Russian steel industry. Experts announced their findings at the Metal-Expo'2016 international exhibition, which is taking place in Moscow on 8-11 November.
NLMK Group, an international steel producer with operations in Russia, the US and European countries, has completed hot-testing of its new crushing and screening unit for the processing of steelmaking slag at its Lipetsk production site.
NLMK Group has started to install equipment for pulverized coal injection (PCI) unit its two largest and the most productive blast furnaces of its Lipetsk plant, namely blast furnace No. 6 with a capacity of 3.1 million tonnes of pig iron per annum and blast furnace No. 7 with a capacity of 4.3 million tonnes per annum.
NLMK Group, an international steel company with assets in Russia, the USA and the EU, has signed an agreement with Paul Wurth (Luxembourg) for engineering and the supply of equipment for the reconstruction of blast furnace No.6 (BF-6), which has a capacity of 3.2 million tonnes per year, at its production site in Lipetsk.
NLMK Group (LSE: NLMK), an international steel company with production facilities in Russia, the United States and the European Union, has finished hot-testing its continuous hot-dip galvanizing lines - HDG-1 at the Lipetsk production site following upgrades. HDG-1 is expected to reach full capacity (up to 500,000 tonnes per year) in April 2016.

The project involves the reconstruction of de-dusting systems at Blast Furnace #6, which has a capacity of 3.2 million tonnes of pig iron per year.
